MKE AP51 Removable sear trip modification service

Description

Removable sear trip medication service for the MKE AP51. 

Just like our service for the MP5 carriers, but for the big brother. Service includes modifying your existing bolt carrier AND modifying your existing recoil buffer. This service requires you send in both your current stripped carrier and the recoil buffer in the stock bottom plate (2 slotted, countersunk screws). I Unlike the AP53, you can send in the AP51 buffer OR a surplus HK91/G3 buffer to be modified. You HAVE to run my buffer with this carrier modification. Period. This buffer fits multiple stocks, but it won’t fit the A3 stocks. This means no A3 stocks on the AP51 with a sear, at least not yet. I modify the buffer end cap (wrench flats) to make removing it easier to install my extended tip. This service includes modifying your carrier to accept a removable sear trip and modifying your factory recoil buffer to limit carrier travel (necessary for the sear trip to not contact the large carrier block plate at the rear of the receiver) We’ve tested this set up extensively and have found no evidence of roller dents or marks as a result of shortening the carrier stroke. Testing with different ammo types, 7.62, .308 and factory locking piece shows this buffer modification only uses 87-90% of the total buffer travel. Ejection patterns remain the same, ROF remains the same and felt recoil has even been reported as “softer”. While we’ve done extensive full auto testing, we can’t and won’t guarantee you may not experience accelerated wear or roller marks, this is due to the fact people change locking pieces, run them suppressed and in full auto. All conditions that expedite wear in a firearm. However, we’re happy with our current offering for the AP51 at this point and we’re the ONLY option to use these as a sear host without form 2ing the receiver and your ONLY option if you want to run your transferable/registered sear/pack in the AP51. Service includes milling your existing carrier to accept a removable sear trip contact piece, a contact piece and screw and modifying the factory recoil buffer anvil. This service allows the AP51 to be used as a full auto or FRT trigger host weapon without modifying the receiver (ATF no go). You simply slide the carrier in past the block plate and install the trip. Trip piece is only tightened to 10-12 INCH pounds, if you want to use thread locker, we recommend the one in the product pictures, ONE drop only. No modifications to the receiver and can be used with postie packs or registered sear packs. These AP51s run great as sear hosts with this service. The included buffer anvil extension IS 100%, ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED! We have not designed a buffer extension for the A3 type stocks yet.
